Isaboko is an art and design practice giving historic fabrics a second life while honoring what has come before.
Through the use of waste textiles, zero-waste patternmaking, and gender-free design, Isaboko has developed a radically sustainable design system rooted in the principles of Solarpunk and Degrowth.
Working under the direction of Isabella Kostrzewa, I designed Volume 2 of the Isaboko Guidebook, an evolving record of the brand’s ideas, processes, transitions, and creations. The publication brings together the past and present of Isaboko’s practice, translating its material philosophy into an editorial system that feels tactile, experimental, and considered.
Through typography, pacing, imagery, and composition, I sought to create a visual language that reflects Isaboko’s approach to making: resourceful, collaborative, and deeply connected to the histories embedded within its materials.
