	&#38;nbsp;Hybrid: Curiosity in All Things

	
	I was inspired by @hybriddesignsf book published with @victionworkshop to make my own fan zine!

What struck me most was not just the philosophy, but how it materializes on the page. The grid feels both structured and flexible, creating a system that supports exploration rather than limiting it. Hand-drawn elements interrupt and coexist with precise layouts, blurring the line between intuition and control. The imagery moves fluidly between polished and raw, reinforcing the idea that design emerges from layering rather than a single voice or method.

	I was inspired by Karel Martens' book Unbound published by @roma.publications to make my own fan zine!I was equally drawn to its visual language and physicality: the exposed perfect binding, thin almost translucent paper, and the use of top-edge (head) binding, which subtly shifts how the book is held and read. These choices don’t just support the content—they are the content, foregrounding structure, process, and interaction.

	EFI Foundation 2025 Report&#38;nbsp;Freelance Collaboration - Worked along side Jonathon BerlinEFI Foundation's 2025 Annual Report needed to make dense, technical energy-policy content legible across print and digital for a wide range of readers, from federal policymakers to funders. Working under Jonathon Berlin's creative direction at MG Strategy+Design, I executed select spreads, including Who We Are, EFIF Leadership and Staff, Thank You, and the back cover, applying the system's five-color pillar palette, speech-bubble motif, and iconography with the same precision as the report's more visual data spreads.
